L&M Associates BS job ads and training deceptive company

I just attended 2 interviews for a company claiming to be hiring managers. Fortunately I checked them out before working for free. I attempted to visit the website they put on the whiteboard (www.southeastexpansion.com) and there was no such site. I referred to my notes and found the name scentura creations that I had copied from their calander... WHOA!!! Too much information to read and too many negative reports. They told us they would be paying us cash during training... Their excuse being too many useless W-2s to fill out when half of us would quit anyways. They did not tell us we would have to be independant contractors but made it sound as if we'd be paid by the company. All of the interview tactics I've read here on the net were used during the 'interview' and everyone that didn't leave the meeting was hired.

They said we'd have our own office after 4-8 weeks and that we could choose location and interior design. They also told us we would make at least 30K after training, but up to $400 per week while training. They stated that we would not be sales people, but we would still have to go through the marketing training so as to have empathy for our new employees when we opened our offices. Thank God for the internet and all of the people who have shared their negative experiences with this company here. If not for them, I'd be starting work on Monday with expectations of cash daily.
