Service Complaint

My wife and I were in the McDonalds restaurant in Charlottesville, Va. Today (F3047 loc: Charlottesville VA). We have done business with this store location and many others in the state but today we received the worst service we have ever experienced.

My wife is unable to eat seeds and she always asks for two bottom buns or any style bun without seeds. The lady running the cash register was very pleasant in taking the order but the people making the sandwiches didn’t fill the order as requested. There was a smiley face on the package, indicating it was a special order. But when she opened the sandwich it had seeds. My wife took it back and explained to another representative what she needed. This time the sandwich came back without any top bun. She took it back again. This time the representative seemed very irritated – sent the sandwich back again and finally it was correct. The representative tossed it across the counter in a very unprofessional manner.

Part of the problem was the lack of ability to speak English by the representative and the cooking staff. We never saw the manager but during the time my wife was trying to get her order straight we saw at least three other customers complaining about their order.

This is not what we expect from a McDonald’s location.
