Richard Goodwin is a ripoff scam artist on ebay

I answered Rick Goodwin's ad he'd palced on Ebay. He was offering a "Going Out of Business" sale on a lot of 50,000 cards he listed the value at of $10,000.00. The lot was supposed to consist of cards that could be used to open a card shop. I paid this person $605.00 via Western Union on 12-17-02.

When I got the cards, it turned out that they were nothing but Damaged and worthless common cards. I called him immediately and requested my money back. He refused. I filed a complaint with Ebay and got no where. I found out first hand that you cannot trust Ebay's returning a portion of the money any of their buyers lose. I was supposed to get $175.00 of my money returned. Despite sending in three (3) sets of paperwork to get my refund, I got nothing from Ebay.

I contact this man repeatedly for several weeks before he blocked my email address and refused to try and settle this matter. I filed Fraud Reports with NFIC, U.S. Postal Authorities, the FBI, Spangle Washington Police and my local police.

This guy is pure slime. He tried conning other Ebay users with the same ad, albiet a few word changes but I followed his transactions and warned anyone who dared bid on his things.
