Not honoring price listed for food orde

My friend and I went into KFC for lunch. There was a special listed for $3.99. (5 firey wings, side & soda) When it was rung up; the price showed $6.99. The person at register brought it to the Manager's attention. He refused to honor price posted. He said it no longer was a special and that he had forgotten to take it down. We mentioned that a posted price should be honored. He proceeded to take it down; then post the correct price. He was borderline rude and made no effort to rectify the situation. He did not even offer an apology. He could learn a few lessons from the employee at the register. This incident took place at 12:26 pm.
