$2 signup cost apparently is a subscription authorization unknown

Miscellaneous

I was suspicious and against my better judgment, I paid the $2 signup charge. No where did I see any mention of an apparent agreement to "subscribe" to further charges for materials I never received (nor wanted). This is what Bank of America credit card dispute personnel say is apparently what "I thought" was what I was doing.

Bank of America has been good about disputing the charges and removing them off my statements but I have to keep an especially vigilant eye on my account. So far they have tried to charge me for 3 "transactions" totalling approximately $150 on top of the initial $2. BoA says they usually don't get more than a couple of charges after they contact the vendor. Let's hope so!

I did receive one phone call shortly after I initally signed up but as they called my cell phone, I didn't want to burn my airtime for "instructions" for the first charge against my account. I told them to email me and I would contact them later. They then charged my account.
