Stole a pure bred persian kitten!

On December 24 Robert Olivas came to our home and purchased a 12 week old silver persian kitten for $600.00. My husband conducted the transaction. Unfortunately I was not home at the time - it was clear just from reviewing the application Robert completed that his answers are suspect so if I had been home I NEVER would have agreed to the sale.in addition, rather than presenting a personal check it appears to be one of those temporary checks (I have a copy) which again is a red flag that should have halted the whole transaction. Needless to say the check bounced. We called the numbers he provided on the application to no avail and even stopped by the address he listed - very large gated residence with no access to the front door. When I resigned myself to the fact we would probably never see our $600, I called and left more messages, begging them to at least assure me of the kitten's well being. No response. I also begged my husband repeatedly to take the man to court but he "never got around to it". At this point I am the only advocate this kitten has - I want action so now I am pursuing the claim myself, this report being my first step. If you have any information that would assist me in prosecuting this individual please contact me ASAP. Based on other reports I have read it's clear that I am not his first victim. Robert and his family they are a group of thieves that need to be brought to justice.
