This company cheated me out of money!

This company contacted me last year about helping me apply for a government grant for my woman-owned business. I paid them $2600 to write the grant application for me and never heard from them again. I tried calling them 6-9 months after that date and the phone would just ring and ring. No one would pick up.

Out of the blue, last Thursday, this company contact me again and told me they'd been taken over and were under new management and that I had been APPROVED! BUT they would need me to submit a detailed Business Plan and would charge me $5900 to do it for me or $1500 to email me the template and I could do my own. All I needed to do was fax them a copy of my check to get started.

I faxed them a copy of my check. They emailed me the Business Plan. The very next day, a check was debited from my account and they had FORGED MY NAME on the check. Totally illegal. I have reported them to the BBB and the FBI.

I just want to make sure no other poor companies are taken advantage of by this company which goes by Small Business Funding Co. And Small Business Funding Services.
