Perini plumbing has been advertising apprentice plumber everywhere, when you apply they send you e-mails that you are selected and are moving forward in the process and will be contacted soon but do not call them. You receive an e-mail requiring you to purchase a cte exam book to study for a test to asses you ability at a discounted rate of 14.95 made by Featherton products. You have 72 hours to take the test or lose the job offer. You buy the book take the test and they do not respond after. I emailed Peter Johnson the HR person and email came back "undeliverable" you call their 888 number and there is no answer, only a scrambled voice stating their not there. This is a company that claims to have hundreds of employees and a web site that looks good. Peter Johnson and HR person for Perini Plumbing is stating they are recruiting everywhere and posting it to get you to buy this book and thats the only reason they contact you. Once the purchase is done you hear 'we are reviewing your assessment and if we need further info we will contact you. What scared me is they have my credit card number and all of my ID to possibly do an identity theft. I received my credit card statement and so far nothing suspicious. It is a scam and preying on good people looking for an honest job!!! Help rip off report!!!
