Constant Collection Calls to Cosigner Father at Work

This company is horrible. I missed a payment several times when I was unemployed. My father was listed as a cosigner, and they called him over 8 times a day at work. We sent a letter to notify them to stop calling him at work, as the Consumer Credit Protection Act says they are supposed to. I was told by a customer service person that they were subject to no state law because this is a federal loan. When informed that this was a federal law, they said it did not affect them and they would continue to call whoever they needed to get it paid, and I was hung up on.
