My elderly mother did not have service on a TV that would be use for the upcoming visit of relatives. She had purchased the premier package that included service protection. Following an hour on the phone to determine that the problenm was a cable and not the program, she was told that they would get around to her repair in about 10 days. This is unacceptable!!!

I can't think of any service business that can simply ignore the current customers repair needs so that they can continue installing service for new customers.

I will be writtng as many letters as I can. This is nothing more than a TOXIC Business, unlike some of the recent criminal acts that have robbed people of their money. Senior citizens who are taken advantage of by businesses like DIRECT TV should be shut down by the goverment. NOWHERE in there contract does it indicate that they have the options of not making repairs for over a week. If they did. They would have a very difficult time selling their service.

This is the most ridiculous situaiton I have ever hear of for a paying customer with a service plan in hand. 10 days to adjust a cable!!!

Senior citizens are treated like this simply because they are not likely to fight back. They are also from a generation when business followed business ethics and there was a value system respected. Seninor citizens relay on their TV service for information and contact. There is no excuse in the world that they are not given priority over a repair problem.

The phone reps. Are USELESS human paperweights. They will not help and are instructed to give no answers, no help, no information, NOTHING! There are no mangers to whom to talk with, the only thing they will tell you is that you can write their PO Box number because no person is going to respond to your concerns.
It is incrediable that a business can operate in Colorado in this way.
