Robert Albiston Scam Artist w / Former Charges for Fraud

I am a Medical Aesthetician in Dallas, Texas. I work for myself providing various aesthetic treatments including laser treatments, cosmetic injectables and basic skincare services. Without taking up too much of your time, I will try to summarize the situation and hopefully ignite some interest that may possibly lead to some sort of resolution. At this point, I have exhausted my resources and am very desperate for help.
I was referred to Robert Albiston, owner of Cosmetic Equipment Finders, by an associate I know through the skincare business. She is the owner of a medical spa in dallas and has a great reputation. She told me about this guy in Denver, Robert Albiston, that could get me a great deal on a piece of equipment that I was interested in. She said he goes to these bank auctions that auction off medical equipment that had been repossessed. You can get equipment at a fraction of the price depending on the availability of what you're looking for and the demand. I was ecstatic and eager to learn more!
I called Robert Albiston and discussed the details of the transaction. He explained the process of the bank auctions and said that when I was ready to move forward to give him at least 30 days notice so he could find the machine I was looking for. He seemed legitimate and had all the right answers so after several months and phone conversations with Rob, I felt comfortable doing business with Cosmetic Equipment Finders.

I had to borrow money from family and friends and used all my savings to come up with $12,000. I signed a contract and gave him $1,100 non refundable down payment on June 22. Once the bank accepted the offer I had to pay the remaining amount and then they would release the equipment for shipment. He said shipment could take a week to ten days. On July 17 I sent a check via fed ex to his home address in Denver for $10,550.

It is now October 11 and I still have not received my equipment and Mr. Albiston completely ceased communication with me shortly after receiving the money. I have made numerous attempts to contact him via phone, text, email and certified mail with no success. I have filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau, Federal Trade Commission, Denver District Attorney and several other miscellaneous agencies. I also had my attorney send demand letters but I am not getting anywhere with this.

In addition, while doing some due diligence investigations I found some information in Orlando, Florida where Robert Albiston was charged with $47,000 in fraudulent insurance billings. I also found several other people that have been scammed by Cosmetic Equipment Finders. I know he is alive and well because I have been tracking his recent purchases on ebay and amazon. He seems to have lots of money to play with while I on the other hand am struggling to pay my bills. I was depending on this piece of equipment to provide a more steady income and instead I am trying to figure out how I am going to live and pay the people back I borrowed money from. This has basically ruined my life and Im exhausted from the effort and time I have put in to trying to bring some justice to this.
I am desperate and dont know where else to turn. I can provide any information you may need as I have compiled a huge folder of all the evidence to use against him. I can also give you the other victims contact information for questioning.
