Do not ever deal with lamont braxton of marrkettrends.com he is a fraud and a rip off artist!

My first contact with lamont braxton of marrkettrends.com was over 4 years ago 2005 to be exact. I ordered flyers and catalogues from him and only partially received the flyers after nearly 12 months of paying for them. After many more months of not hearing from him and not receiving any commission cheques i decided to get a refund. He owed me in excess of $600 and thats not including the postage that i spent to send out the flyers which was in excess of $400.
After finally asking for my refund he told me that i forfeited my commission checks and would not receive them. I do not believe there was any money to receive so I didnt care I just wanted the money i had paid him. I received (after 2 years of hounding) a partial payment but am still owed $364.20 and have contacted the consumer protection board of New York to help me retrieve it.
Now it is not about the money, now it is about making sure that HE never gets away with this again, but i live in australia and i cant go around and pay him a visit, which i really want to do!!! This man, if you could call him that, is full of B.S. And is not to be trusted under any circumstance. I only decided today 25th Sept 09 to google him and when i came across this website i just had to join so as to warn others!
During all of this my mother passed away and to think that there are people out there that would take money from others without any qualms makes me sick. I am lucky, i was able to lose the money if thats what it came down too but there are others who cant afford that and thats why i am writing this.
Like Yvonne said he is supposed to be a God fearing man, and so he should be because when God gets His hands on him he is going to be in for the shock of his life!!!
I cant find his website being www.marrkettrends.com so maybe that means he has been put out of business or started up another scam business under another name. Just be ware of this low life scam artist and DO NOT give him any money, you'll never see it again if you do. What goes around comes around and I knew there would be other victims out there besides me, so Lamont Braxton will be in for the shock of his life and so he should be.
