SoLow.com
Making unauthorized charges on my Verizon cell account. I have no idea how they got my number. Verizon is no help! How did my cell number become a limitless account for Solow.com?

Miscellaneous

I have no idea how Solow.com got my number, but they continue to send me text messages and then I get charged $9.99 a month. Verizon says they can't block them b/c I'm a subscriber, but I have never subscribed to this service! I tried calling the company with the number that Verizon gave me, but there is no live person to talk to. I have tried to cancel the service by phone and e-mail, but how am I ever going to get refunded for this scam that Verizon allows on their customers? How did Verizon become an authorized collector of subscription charges? If I wanted to subcribe to a service why would I not have to give my credit card number and pay my credit card? Verizon admitted that anyone with my cell number could have subscribed for me. Or someone could have made a typo when trying to subscribe for themselves. This is outrageous. I'm angry with Solow for making such ridiculous charges and Verizon and I suppose the cell phone industry in general for not only allowing such ridiculous practices, but assisting them in collecting these predatory unauthorized charges.
