Steven Hertz, Hertz Law Loan Mod Scam thru KFI Radio's Law Day

Loan modification scams are run by Hertz Law Group (Steven Hertz) in Orange County thru KFI radio's Law Day sponsored by Handel on the law radio host Bill Handel.

BEWARE of any lawyer involved with the KFI Law Day at Whittier Law School. I attended and was sold a mile of lies promising to help me with my home loan problems. Repeated statments by Steve Hertz and his associates convinced me to retain them on the spot for a reduced rate. After paying them and sending forms and documents I spent the next 75 days trying to get something done... Anything... With my lenders... Nothing. I was finally told I would need to pay more money before any action would comence. I asked for a refund for failure to do any work on my case and was told "no refund available" goodby.

An inflated invoice was sent to me claiming I owed Hertz Law $800.00 more for reading my e-mails. My retainer was used up in "reviewing clients documents" and "staff meetings" in their office.
DO NOT use Hertz Law (Steven Hertz) for any reason. He has ripped off clients before according to the state bar website.
