Cheating or over charging customers on there bills

I have been in the house where I live for the past four months. My first water bill was for $9 dollars and change. The bill then grew to $33 and change. When I called and ask why it went up so much the rep told me that it was a est. Bill and they est. The bill from the family that lived in the house before me. But if I did not want to pay the bill, that I could pay the flat rate of $22 and change. So I thought about it and I ended up paying the $22 and change. The next month the bill want to $40 and change, again I called and was informed that that was a est bill. To make a long story short the bill has gone up to $50 and change. The funny thing about this problem is that five and a half days out of seven I was on the road driving a truck for the three months prior. Plus I was informed that I used 900cubic ft. More. They only do a meter check every other month. Why every other month is because they save a lot of money on man hours. So I have to now pay extra $ every month to have my meter check, until they can do it wright. At one time they did do a meter check every month like the rest of the utilities in the city. But like the crooks that they are and I mean all of them, now they do the est. Bills and charge every customer more for less. To sum this up the top officers in these company's make big pay checks, bonuses and more than likely large stock options. If they can save there company's large sum's of money, plus making the stock holders large return's there hero's. Greed has not only corrupted big company's but all so our government which lets them get by with these bad habits. Hopefully one day the people will get tired of being cheated and over charge by these company's and get together and file class action law suites and expose these greedy company's for what they are.
