Doesn't Work... - orange and blue towels

We recently purchased one because it looked so cool and convenient. But it doesn't work as advertised. We filled up a glass halfway with water and dunked it in to see how well it worked, granted it did soak up most the water but it was dripping all over like a regular old paper towel. Also spilled some water on carpet, used this... And about 20 paper towels after. Does not work as claimed, works about as well as a good ol' rag.
