Complete and Utter SCAM!

Received a call, just as the other people who commented did. Was told asked was i aware of a court case against me, being tried in court the next date? I immediately was agitated, b/c of his tone, and rudeness. I replied, No, i am not, repeatedly asked him what he was talking about, got no real answer. Told the caller that i was at work, he was calling me on my cell, and to give me a phone number to call him back on for more information. He gave e the number 714-598-4241. (this was odd, b/c he called from a local number), told me to ask for "jack brown". This guy also had a Heavy Indian accent. He proceeded to say, "call me back, immediately". I told him i was at work, and i would call him back when i could, and hung up.

When i called back, the line was repeatedly busy. Once i finally got through, i asked for Jack Brown, was told to hold on, the guy pushed a couple buttons in my ear, muted the phone, and came back on saying he was Mr Brown. I said, this is the same person who answered the phone! I was hung up on immediately.

To make a long story short, they were saying that a case was being tried against me tomorrow. I repeatedly asked in what court? Was given no answer. Repeatedly asked for a phone number to the creditor who was claiming i owed them money. Was told i couldn't have the phone number, as it was a conflict of interest. The said i received a "Payday loan" into my back account around November 13. This was funny, because i didnt open my bank account until December (verified this with the bank while on another phone with them) We went back and forth, until i got fed up. Told them, these are scare tactics, everything you are saying is untrue, i guess we'll have it out in court, and hung up.
