Stop spending taxpayers money to put your ugly face on tv

The City of Florissant Missouri is at it again with spending your hard earned cash. The notorious Mayor Robert G. Lowery (former police chiefs) ego has gotten in the way of public safety. Lowery among the other city council members are allocating funds for television commercials and bllboards (costing you the tax payers) $40,000 for the year 2002.

Lowery has his mug plastered on the radio and television saying that North St. Louis County is the best place to live. He is buying $60,000 clocks for old town Florissant (using parks improvement funds) the clocks are not even on Florissant City Parks property. He had a fountain placed outside of his office among 5 other fountains placed throughout the city. He is bringing in new businesses and working on annexations but have not hired any additional police or staff for the extra work. There have been 4 annexations in 5 years and no additional police officers hired for the extra 6,000 people.

The Florissant City Council cannot make any decisions without his "approval." He works them over like a mafia leader working over his grunts. Let's stop the frivolous spending Lowery and get your cronies outta here.
