Lied to to gain access to my home and collect fees from NV Power under fraudulent terms San Dieago California and Henderson Nevada - Arizona

This company had a small table set up at a local Smith Grocery Store with a comapany rep at the table. They made claims and promises to gain access to my home and probably defrauded Nevada Power out of a commission. I was promised that my air ventS that were not putting out little or no cool air would be fixed for free along with checking my air condition unit. I explained over and over that all I need was work on my air ventS and that I had just had the unit serviced two weeks ago.

I was promised in front of three other people that this would be done at no charge and even explained how it was done. It sounded like a scam but they were being paid by NV POWER COMPANY. I took off work at a cost of $500-$2000 dollars to accomadate their Saturday schedule. This was a particular high paying Saturday but I thought it would be worth it. A very nice man came out and checked out the air condition unit and it was fine. He said he knew nothing of working on the vents.

I talked to one of the owners and he said I should have read the contract that was never offered to me. I told him I lost a lot of money missing this days work and he said the only thing he would do was to send someone out to give me an estimate. I explained that I would complain to the BBB, Attorney General and every other agency that would be interested in his fraud. He said I was threating him and I said no, IT WAS A PROMISE and he hung up on me. I will contact every agency that will listen until I get some satisfaction. I explained a simple apology would have been enough if he had admitted the mistake. I am sure the nv power will be very interested.
