Timeshare Rent Or Sell COM
Sheila Soto - LLC Bait and Switch. Consumer Beware. Dishonest representation

My wife and I were told by their employee, Sheila Soto, that our vacation weeks in Hawaii would rent for $3,000 within 2 weeks, but of course, no guarantees. This sounded too good to be true, so I told her that. All she said was just sign up with them for $400, so they could prove to us that it is true.

However, we've been with them for almost two months now, so still no offers. When we called in to inquire on the status, they said we have our listing priced too high, and that if we lowered it, we could get it rented sooner.

First off, we were not the ones who asked for $3,000, their telemarketers are the ones who sold it at the price. I understand they need to put food on their tables, but going to the extent of saying one thing, and then not backing it up with action, to me, that's manipulation and bait and switch, which is illegal.

I am not blaming the employee, Sheila Soto, for her misrepresentation, as I am in sales also, so I know that's what the company trained her to say. My request is that the company be straight forward and realistic about their rental/sales quotes that they give to timeshare owners that they telemarket to.

It occurs to my wife and I that we got scammed, but I'm not sure whether that is their intention or not. I just wish that we saw the post of Report: #463748 on this company 2 months ago, so we wouldn't have to go through with doing business with this company.

My wife and I are committed to the cause of either making the situation work, in a way that the company takes on our request to reform their marketing message to reflect the facts and reality, or we will join forces with other timeshare owners to file lawsuits against this company for misrepresentation.

As for the employees being scammed too by not getting paid the income they were promised, I have not been aware of that until now. If that is indeed the case, please speak out to us timeshare owners, so we could work together to end the unethical practices of Timeshare Rent or Sell COM LLC.
