Unsrupulous sales practices, misleading, untrustworthy, deceitful, and unbecoming of all disclosed practices regarding centex's policies and procedures dating back to approximately 2years ago

This has been the worst living nightmare my husband and i have ever experienced. At first we were so elated and now we have become so humiliated and victimized by centex. The reason this has to be documented is because we hope and pray this will never happen to anyone else. With all honesty we gave centex our total cooperation regarding all aspects of the purchasing of our lot and model of our home.
During the process of our negotations with sales reps Frederick Sommers, Bonnie U, and vice president of marketing Carol Grephart we were intentially taken advantaged of. Within 24 hours we had our lot premium raised $10,000;50% of our first $50,000 in upgrades were taken off the table;we were forced to take a lassiter c elevation when Carol and Fred stated we were entitled to the lassiter A or lassiter B model. They intentially misinformed us which cost us a minimum of $60,000 MORE than expect. Please look up all the complaints on the consumer affairs website and other websites. THEY DO NOT HAVE REVEIWS ON THEIR WEBSITE.
We had to hire an attorney which cost us even more money. FRED promised that we would get a price reduction if the prices of the homes were reduced.
Fred is no longer with the company. From a neighbor of mine I heard he is coming back since PULTE AND CENTEX have merged. KELLY has taken his place and we had a few problems with her as well. Everyone we dealt with in the last 2 YEARS HAS LEFT. So if you plan on purchasing a home don't expect the people that sold your home to be there by the time your home is built. Good luck!
This experience has taken a toll on my life. I was in the hospital for 3 days I thought I was having a heart attack (have the records to prove it) and had to go on medications. This nightmare almost destroyed my marriage.
We are going to be closing at the end of July and hopefully at our closing when we meet with Robert F (the big wig for centex) he will see that we are good, respectable people and that were treated with hardly no respect (meaning lie after lie) and so unfair. We know other people have been lied to and had bad experiences as well. Honestly I don't know how the people we dealt with can sleep at night knowing what they have done to people is so wrong!
