Small business's beware of cramming

Like others on this website I would like to inform about Nearby Business US. They named my organization to verify a service list. They never provided any service; we never required any service; and we never received any service. The salesperson from Nearby Business US named and also the phone was responded with a part-time worker.

The worker just established our target. She informed the consultant that she's not approved to create any business decisions. The consultant obviously noticed this and stated that it is okay we're simply confirming your record. Then they moved her to a different individual to confirm her identification? She confirmed her title and birthdate. SHE DIDN'T AUTHORIZE ANY SUPPORT.

Our next telephone statement shown 2 .95 "Web Hosting" costs, plus NC state duty of $4.89 to get a whole of $74.79. I quickly approached the corporation so that as I lectured them about the exercise of CRAMMING they hung-up on me. I called back and obtained their clarification how my worker approved the costs. To that we errupted plus they again hung-up on me.

After processing grievances using the State-Of New York Attorneygeneral, the Greater Business Office, the FTC & the FCC against each AT&T and NEARBY BUSINESS US, a consultant of AT&T approached me and decided to change the costs.

If anybody calls your company to "verify" a service record, let them know NO. Contact your telephone business and stop all third party payment. If you should be a target of NEARBY BUSINESS US, do when I did and protest to every national and state organization feasible. It's the only path to place them from company. Normally they'll proceed to obtain fat by conning small company.
