I volunteered for a non-profit group called For Our Kidz, for three years. This organization is run by Shona Summers and DiAnn Midcalf. All proceeds benefit childrens' sports and educational organizations.

Over the three years I volunteered for this organization, I witnessed many dishonest practices by Shona Summers & DiAnn Midcalf.in the last year I volunteered, payouts became less and less frequent, sometimes up to three months. When asked for a check, Shona and DiAnn would become irate and belittle me for asking.

All the volunteers began talking about the reasons for prolonged payment delays and were beginning to feel like Shona and DiAnn were stealing funds. Random amounts of money were removed from payouts even though Shona and DiAnn said they didn't take any money out of the organization for their time.

I was promised a bonus for working the Hockey Season, which I was told I wouldn't be getting. The agreement was for opening and closing a concession stand at Jobing.com Arena over 40 plus games. I came in 30 - 60 minutes before everyone else and left 60 - 120 minutes after everyone else in exchange for half the bonus at the end of the season. I shared this responsibility with another volunteer.

Payment was made to For Our Kidz in April in the amount of $2750 for a job well done by myself and another volunteer. I am entitled to $1375 and have not received it.

Attempts to recover payment have failed.
