C R Associates called me saying in was imperative I call them. I found out they were a fraudulent debt collection company and told them not to call me again. T
The person on the other end said if I don't comply they will file an IRS case against me. I called the FDC and filed a complaint and was told if a debt company calls you they have 5 days to contact you in writing.
If they fail to do so they are in violation of the "Fair debt collection practice act". Do not answer any question from C R Associates tell them you want it in writing. If they continue to call send them a registered letter with a return receipt asking them not to call you, at this point they have to stop calling you. If they do not you can start legal action against them.
