I was hired at T. 2. S. I responded to an ad for customer service. When I got to the interview there were 7 other people interviewing for the same position. During the interview I found out that this was not a customer service position, it was a sales position.

The fact that all those people were interviewing for this job was used to make me feel like I had to commit to anything in order to get this job. I found out later this was done intentionally.

We were suppose to be selling items to raise money for charity like missing children's organizations. We set up in front of krogers and walmarts offering free fingerprints. But that was just the tactic to get you to the table so we could sell you something. We were trained how to sell anything to anyone regardless of if you needed it or had kids. I was so excited about my new job and how fun it was and how much money I was making.

Then they began requiring so much more. I had to buy suits and drive to far locations to set up. Using our own cars and gas. We were required to come in earlier and stay later. Soon I was working 12 hours a day.

It all fell apart when they tried to promote me. They had me interviewing people for the job and training people. This is when I found out that only a 1 from every item sold went to the charity. I would go out and sell these things and I would make any where between 2-20 on these items and we gave the rest of the money to our boss. Imaging 20 people bringing someone 200 dollars a day. Sounds like a pimp right. I lost my excitement for it and I couldnt sell anything with a clear consience. It is sorta like a cult.
