I went to Quicken Loans and was sent a number of companies involved in mortgage loans. Virgin Loans represented by Benjamin stated they could give me the best deal. He sent me a Good Faith Estimate which was of course a very low fee. I went with them because of the low fees but when it came to closing they upped the fees by over &7,000. When I complained they stated they had made a mistake and lowered it to another $3,250, saying they made a mistake originally.

This is the OLD BAIT & SWITCH - they hooked me and then of course raised the fees at the end. Telling me that there was now a complaint at this point with interest rates going up instead of down.

I would WARN everyone to stay away from VIRGIN LOANS since they obviously haven't a clue what they're doing or they're in the business of lying to their customers.
