Miscellaneous

I wish I had seen this posting before I ever fell into this poor excuse for a salon! I recently came to Tennessee to visit my aunt and was desperately in need of a haircut so she sent me to Franklin to one of her friend's salons. I ended up mixing up the names and ended up @ Studio 20 seeking their services. When I walked in the girls looked me up and down as if to indicate I wasn't up to par for them however I felt it was the otherway around. I indicated to Sarah that I only wanted a simple trim as my stylist back home is the only one I trust with taking major length off my hair. She proceeded to cut and ended up taking off 3 inches off my hair, screwed up my layers, and DID NOT give me an even cut at all.in the midst of my so-called trim we were interrupted by her cell phone, her next appointment who obviously was upset that I was in the chair still at the exact moment she walked in, and some shady character she claimed was her "friend" from school. You would think that me being a paying customer and this being my first (and last by my experience) visit to the salon she would have treated me a little more courteously.instead I felt like I had interrupted her life by walking in unannounced expecting a simple trim. Maybe if she would have actually paid attention to what I was asking instead of talking trash about her other clients to her co-workers maybe I might have ended up with an even trim. But by the looks of her and her trailer trash style I doubt I can expect anything but sub-par. When I returned to my aunts house she was horrified upon seeing my hair and how upset I was and immediately called her friend's salon she was trying to get me to and thank god I was able to get my hair fixed by a True Professional. From what I was told by my aunt the Franklin/Cool Springs area is considered to be upscale like Summerlin where I live. I didn't see one thing classy or elegant about the shop or its workers. My aunt also told me the co-owner Sarah who gave me my hack job recently got engaged. Well, I know the perfect gift for her... A Spot on CMT's My Redneck Wedding cuz her clothes, hairstyle, and attitude is something only a backwoods, in-bred gimp would be proud of. After reading what happened to the poor girl that attempted to work there part time I could only laugh at the mother saying she would pray for the girl. Momma Valerie may want to redirect her prayers to her daughter Sarah. She seems to need Jesus more. Oh and my aunt wants to know how the Bridges family can claim to be so Christian-like but when their daughter Sarah had her baby why did she have to have half the men in Maury County paternity tested? So if this is what they consider to be upscale and elegant, newsflash sweetie my 5 year son can do a better job cutting hair with his kindergarten scissors. Also, elegant and upscale does not equal trifling and gossipy. Just sayin'
