Asked to send a money gram and buy items at a department store, given a check for $3,875.00

I was sent a check in the amount of $3,875.00 and a letter instructing me to send a money gram at Western-Union and shop at a local Wal-mart or K-mart. I was so tempted to deposit the check which they asked me to do and wait for it to clear.
Also on the back of the letter they told me to conduct honest and ethical manner and that honesty was their policy.
The one thing that mad me a little skeptical was the name of the Bank the check was written on&Point Bank in Little Elm, Tx
I went on line to find anything on these people that I could and I saw the notice from Greg&from New York. So I would like to thank him for filing his response to this company tying to rip off everyone. Thank you so much.
