Seller Documents Rejected in Buyer Postcard Dispute

Recently a buyer filed a dispute over a postcard that he had purchased through eBay and paid for with PayPal, then decided to return it as not as described.
I filed a response that questioned the buyer's dispute, in that the buyer maintained the item came in a package other than the one it was mailed in. I also questioned why the buyer would open a damaged package containing a prize postcard he needed for his collection, and which was left out on his porch for an extended period of time.
PayPal refused to accept my documents showing that the buyer was incorrect about the type of package the card was shipped in, and none of my email response on this issue. The PayPal system timed out after 5 minutes, so I responded more quickly, yet they refuse to show any other type of response. PayPal was notified by this buyer that "I am Ebay busiest postcard buyer worldwide with over 16,000 of the finest feedback and get cards all over daily." I believe they lost my response. After all, I have only sold 54 things on eBay.
