Lookprices.com, phone-card-pin.com Will charge your card, but Will NOT send calling PIN. Scam is to get personal data to "correct the problem."

This company will allow you to search for the country you want to call, and select a card based on price and user reviews. Seems fine, but as soon as you pay you will get a pop-up asking you to help them verify the purchase so they can give you the calling card number and pin.

Then, you will be asked either to give them the last 4 digits of your social security number online, to call your bank and enter a verification number, or to call their customer service line. Red flag! (If you don't, they will call you it says.)

They also say you have not yet been charged, but I check my account, and I HAVE been charged.

I believe when they call me, they're going to ask for personal data to try to scam me for more money. I have seen other reports on this website of similar traps. I'm so frustrated that I made the purchase! I tried to protect myself be searching for the company name before buying. The trick is they have lots of "affiliates" with other names, making it harder to search for complaints.
