Unwarranted termination

Raytheon Middle East Systems (RAYMES) represents Raytheon in Saudi Arabia, providing defense systems to the Royal Saudi Air Defense Forces (RSADF). RAYMES has also been contracted to provide English language instruction to the RSADF to prepare them for instruction in systems operation. However, the company has delegated extensive authority over employees, including the right to terminate contracts without notice or cause under the guise of "pleasing the customer". Employees are terminated immediately upon any complaint from an RSADF officer, non-com, or English language student.in addition, RAYMES showers the officers with "gifts", including computers, flat-screen TVs, expense paid trips, and even automobiles.

Most recently RAYMES terminated the services of an English Language at the request of an officer for reporting his unethical and possibly illegal activities. The company refused to take responsibility and insisted that the supervisor did not have a contract, but only a Memo of Understanding. The rule of RAYMES is "please the customer" and expect no support nor accountability from the management.
