Carol Adler
Dandelion Books, LLC Did not pay royalties or file any accounting of my book sales

Miscellaneous

In 2004 I published a book "Evil Fire Made To Burn" with Dandelion, Carol Adler. I have a special web site where readers could submit questions and comments. I had over 1200 individual responses, yet Carol only reported 24 book sales. I even saw someone reading my book on a vacation to Cambodia! When I questioned Carol about this she seemed very upset that I had discovered her illegal business plans and told me she would 1) not promote my book and 2) would not cancel my contract. This amounted to killing my work and preventing another "honest" publisher from taking it.

I noted this on my website and received dozens of similar complaints from other Dandelion authors. No doubt this woman is sleezy and dishonest and has hurt many many authors, taking their work and their money.

I eventually got my work copyright back and published the book myself, instantly getting thousands (114,000 to date) new readers of my manuscript. It was even bought for a screenplay... All because I quit doing business with this horrible person.

Other authors please beware and look closely at the kind of person you are doing business with. "By deception she doeth business."
