Steer clear of theese scam artists

This company is not in business to make money off shippers or receivers. They make the majority of their money by screwing the drivers/contractors.

They claim to pay drivers a set amount plus fuel surcharge, but when there is a fuel surcharge it is only enough to bring the rate up to the set amount.

They require you to have occupational accident insurance, (to prevent you from suing them if you get injured). If you get this insurance through tri state, they charge you $30.00 a week "administrative fees"

Every time they load money on your fuel card, for whatever reason, they charge you 5%.

They charge you $4.00 per week for trip pack, whether you use it or not.

Some loads you are dispatched on you loose money, after paying for the fuel and their fees. If you go to or through oregon or new mexico, you have to pay for trip permits (not reimbursed), over and above a $42.50 per week for using their plates,

When dispatchers error on delivery times, the driver has to sit another day waiting to deliver the load, with no pay for lay over.

There are times that their fees and escrows amount to more than what you would get paid for the miles they dispatch you on. You owe them money at the end of the week.

They constantly harass you, via qual-com, about the status of your load. Expecting you to type a reply while driving.

If you can live on top ramen or hot dogs, whole management drives cadillacs, and eats prime rib or porter house steaks every night, tri state is the place for you!
If you are due any detention they take 80% of the money.
