I received a call today from a Valerie at International Credit. She stated that we had been turned over to collections for a Progressive Business publication.

I spoke with her for several minutes and explained to her that I had no idea of what she was talking about. She stated that I had agreed to this publication for a 30 day trial period and if i did not want it anymore then I could cancel with no charge to me and I had failed to do so.

I explained to Valerie again that I had no idea what she was talking about. She at that point stated that Progressive Business had mailed us four invoices and we had not responded so that is why they turned us over to her company for collections.

I also stated to Valerie that I would like to see a copy of the invoices that this company had sent me and she stated that she would be unable to get those to me. I also asked her for information about this company Progressive Business and she stated that she would not be able to give me any of their information.

I then told Valerie that I would be contacting our local BBB and I would need to get back to her because I believed that this was a scam.
