I saw posting on Craigslist.com for a 2006 HARLEY-DAVIDSON SOFTTAIL CUSTOM FATBOY. I responded to the email to set up a time to come look at it. This was the exact respond "RENE WISE" sent to me.

First of all I want to thank you for your interest in my bike. The bike is located in Pensacola, FL and I am selling it at this price ($4900) because i just finished the divorce with my husband. The divorce is finished and I own this bike. I work as a dealer on a cruise ship and i want sell it because I need money for other things. This bike is in excellent working condition, no scratches, flaws or any kind of damage, slightly used, in 100% working and looking conditions and comes with a clear title. From the beginning you have to know that for the payment I request only secure pay, I prefer the payment to be done using eBay services. Since i am working most of my time, and divorced I want the deal closed only through eBay's Buyer Protection Program in order for me and you to be 100% protected. The final price that I want for this bike is $4900. If you will take it for this price, I am willing to handle the shipping. Please get back to me asap if you decide to buy, and include in your e-mail your full name and address where you want it shipped so I can start the deal with eBay. I sent her an email and gave her my phone number to contact me and gave my address and and full name telling her that I would buy the bike. I honestly thought that it was legit, a woman just gone through a divorce and wanted to anger her exhusband. I never used this Buyer protection program through ebay only paypal but she asured me that if was the safest way for her and I. I rec'vd two emails from ebay motors telling me how to send the money and it was going. That I would send the money to Tony Dempsey A fianacing ebay agent. The address was 2145 Hamilton Ave San Jose, CA which is one of the addresses for an ebay office. This Tony would hold the money and tell Rene that he had it and she could ship the bike. That once I rec'vd the bike I had five days to inspect it and if I was satified he would release the money to her. I got the full amount of $4900 cash and went to CVS to wire the money. The lady on the other line of the money gram asked me about what I was doing with the money and she said I know that it looks 100% real but its a scam. Ebay never holds money and ebay does not use money grams or wire tranfers. Thank goodness that I spoke to her and no one else bc I would have been out nearly $5000. This "RENE WISE" is very convincing and absolutely if it sounds too good to be true it is. I hope that these people are caught and that people are aware of what is going on. Also, these people have my full name and I can only hope will not use it to scam someone else.
