If you get hit by one of their drivers be prepared

On Thanksgiving day I was hit head on at 70mph by one of this company's high risk drivers. My Mom died and I was hospitalized for 3 months (one month I'm ICU). Now of is 5 months later and I have just returned to work part time. I contacted Oak Brook and found them almost impossible to get in touch with and, when I did get the person handling the case I almost wished I hadn't. She informed me that I would be charged because I hadn't called the tow lot to release my car and didn't care that I couldn't exactly worry about that while I was fighting for my life! Her standard answer to most questions was to file with my insurance company. I finally gave up and called my ins co Allstate and they had the same issues contacting the rep and getting her to do her job. The police report clearly stated their client pulled into oncoming traffic!

Now Allstate worked with my health ins co to settle so I can have some of the money from the policy and Oak Brook is saying they don't have proof that I incured $10,000 in medical bills so they won't agree to the settlement. The helicopter alone was $20000 and my health ins has paid over $300,000 with more bills coming in daily. They won't say exactly what they need but state that everything we send isn't enough.

I lost my Mom, my car, part of my leg, I have pins and rods in my body, I have lost wages, and I will always need assistance walking while their client basically walked away from the accident and they can't even do their job and pay the settlement.
