Contractor ripped me off and billed us for a larger bill then what we signed up for

On april 18th we called about a business card left on our screen door from a contractor for charter. We specifically needed internet and cable i asked jerry what he had to offer and he told me that we could get 10 megs of internet and 174 channels, a free drv as well as upgrade to hd as well a 1 other box for our bedroom at no additional charge for 6 months and after the first 6 months was up we could call back and receive his new promotional services.

His card says that there is no contract, free installation and a 30 day money back guarantee, when the installer got here we had to pay 60 hook up fee. Jerry told me that our first bill would be about 10 dollars more b/c of a back pay we would owe because we didnt pay it all during installation and that our 2nd bill would be regular 69.99 there after. We got out first bill the following friday it says we owe 33.98 for the remainder of what we paid (60.00).

I was so mad i called charter immediately and they said that for the plan we have is 94.00 a month and i explained to the person that i was hooked up through a contractor and the billing was wrong and that the only reason we got service was because it was 69.99. I don't have much money to spend and i thought it was a great deal. They said there is no way they can give us our plan for the price that jerry told us on the phone, but please believe i will am not the type of woman who will let this go i will make my bill be 69.99 please believe!
