Blood Sucking

We previously had Providian as our credit card company. They went under and were bought out by CHASE. This blood sucking company. They fluctuated our monthly payment date without notifying us and for the first time we were late by 3 days on our bill. THREE freaking days!!! So no biggy 'right', we payed the late fee and moved on with our lives.

I was a little "PO", but figured "hey I should of kept a closer eye on the account." I even set up for automatic payment, so it wouldn't happen again. Well today I was looking at my online statement and this company had the nerve to raise our interest rates from 10.48% to 29.99%. More than doubling our payment, which by the way does not go towards principle, but towards the interest rate.

Like if times weren't hard enough already. Haven't these bank gotten enough help from the government. Why do the continue to try to screw us over. I will never ever ever bank with CHASE again. My husband and I are now trying to scrounge together all of our savings to pay this account off.

I hope this company is the next to go under. I would be happy to see them disappear. They don't care about us, so why should we care about them.
