Company was rigid with wedding registry

To all reading this:

Avoid target's club wedd registry and all other gift registries!!!

We registered at Target in Brooklyn, NY for our wedding registry at Target and it's been downhill ever since. Target has NO IDEA and has NO CAPABILITY in running a wedding or gift registry - each and every store has no idea what other stores are doing. A list of our problems:

1. Friends were informed that items were available online when they weren't at checkout
2. Friends were told items were available at certain stores only to find the opposite on arrival
3. Target told us we'd receive a 10% discount on items WE purchase off our registry, documented in our packet. We were stonewalled in 3 stores when we tried to redeem this
4. Target gave us a FRACTION of a registry item's purchase price when we tried to return WITH A RECEIPT
5. Target absolutely stonewalled us when we tried to get a replacement for broken dishes (SHIPPED broken!)
6. Target made my wife wait in 4 different stores for HOURS in the Queens, NYC area while they tried to "help".
7. A Target CUSTOMER SERVICE rep in a store in Queens made MY WIFE wait on the phone for 30 MINUTES with corporate HQ in Minneapolis while the rep "was busy with other customers"

There are a HOST of other issues we've had...
Bottom line, Target has NO IDEA how to run a wedding registry business - they take every chance they can get to stonewall you and make managing registry gifts (exchanges, returns, defective items, etc) a living hell.
