Great Concept - Great Stores - used books, used music, used movies

I must say that Half-Price Books is a great chain of stores for buying books, magazines, and used music & movies from. Since they specialize in used books, you won't often find the latest best-sellers. However, you will find a very broad variety at dirt-cheap prices. My family and many of our friends often use HPB as a book rental center.

Important note: For better or for worse, HPB does not keep an inventory of their stock, much less on computer. For better in that it makes each browsing experience into a treasure hunt with some nice surprises; for worse in that you can't query their stock for that special book you're looking for.
