This is to inform all the poor souls that have been fraudulently charged $14.95 Tax on the phone bills, that all the need to do is to call UnitedTel Directly at the number listed above and demand your money back, each representative is told to say whatever necessary to keep as much money as possibel for the company. They take money from accounts singed up for by minors unless specifically asked to remove charges, and we belive that the owner actaully pays people to sign up random telephone numbers from the phone book.
The scam follows internet questionarres and surveys and locks in your personal information to bill before you even complete them. Then bills every 31 days after your initial sign up to your phone bill for 14.95 Tax. The webiste specifically associated with this company are www.247mp3s.com, www.findyourdiet.com & www.smartdiets.com which is identical to the phone billing www.findyourdiet.com only it requires a Credit Card sign up.
The company has numerous problems and employees that say whatever they want to you on the phone to get you off the line and take the next call, just to give you an Idea they take over 1000 phone calls about this exact complaint every week! Wonder why they are still in business? Cause the owner Tom, just pays his fees for breaking the law and moves the company elsewhere. They have already been sued in the past for slamming and cramming phone bills in Washington. They use personal information from the phone book to fill in the holes to prevent him from being shut down.
Your best course of action is to call your telephone company now and TERMINATE ENHANCED BILLING SERVICES, this is the portion of your telephone bill that allows UnitedTel and Clicksparks fees on your phone bill.
