Unable to contact regarding BROKEN baby carrier (and yes it broke while my daughter was IN it)

I tried contacting Infantino over a month ago regarding a broken Infantino carrier that I had received as a baby shower gift. I have yet to receive a response from them and have just sent a second correspondence.

BUT, the real thing that irritates me is the fact that my 3 month old daughter was in this carrier and the buckle that you click into the end decided it was going to snap! While my daughter was in it! Luckily, I happened to be holding her hands at the time, otherwise she might have fallen through the bottom side!

So my question is, why would they not at least respond to my e-mail with an apology or some sort of excuse or SOMETHING. I don't want anything from them, I just want to know that this is being looked into and taken seriously because my daughter could have seriously been hurt!

I'm just worried that somebody else's child could end up hurt because it could happen to any child and not everyone is careful with those carriers and I can only imagine the backlash should someone's child get hurt because of a problem that could have been taken care of before.
