I received a letter from this company yesterday, with a check from another company, ALTERNATIVES (AAPD) PALCO in Maumelle, AR for $4,750.00. The letter said to call the claims agent, Allen Marthins or Tax Agent Remmel Bash.
The amount won was $470,000.00. And the check was supposedly to pay the taxes on this amount ahead of time. I was able to reach the tax agent, and he said that I was to go deposit this check into my bank account and then call him and he would instruct me on where to go to pay the taxes.
He was hard to understand, because, of course, he was from overseas... And it was more than we could handle to continue speaking to him. So, we hung up, and this morning I got on the internet to check out the company.
I'm curious to know what's up with this company in Arkansas that the check is drawn off of...??? I'll further check that name online also.
