If your looking for great customer service, don't work with PODS - Moving Service

The absolute worst service, for the most money I have ever experienced. Pay for the convience of moving with PODS, they were very helpful and service was exceptional out of Grand Rapids Michigan, then they had our money and our possessions, when we arrived in South Carolina, nothing but trouble, and who cares attitude. POD ended up being deliverd to a truck stop and then we had to unload truck load at a time and transport to home. We were told that where we were located was too far to deliver, even though the truck stop was farther from the POD warehouse and they had to go right past where we lived to drop it at the truck stop. We met a couple that lives about 6 houses down the road from us in the same sub division and their POD was delivered to them. When we complained to the warehouse in Columbia/Cayce South Carolina, the girl there said it wasn't there problem, they don't make any money off of the deliveries anyway. I have been in a customer service based business all of my like, treatment like that makes me wonder how PODS stays in business. I make sure that my family, friends and I tell this story to everyone we come into contact with. Every Relator that we work with, every customer that steps into the company I work for hears my story of PODS and the money spent for the lousy service received. How can a company that started out in Michigan to be our dream come true, turn out to be the biggest nightmare. What a wonderful welcome to South Carolina!!!
