I received a call from "Astra Business Services" @ 866-823-1670. This foreign-sounding man said he was from Astra Bus. Scvcs. And he needed to verify the last 4 digits of my husband's SS# (he had the last 4 digits). Then he said what my home address is. I asked what kind of business they were, and he said he couldn't discuss any personal information until I verified the last 4 digits of the SS#. I asked him what kind of business services they provide, and he refused to give me an answer. He just kept saying he needed me to verify the last 4 digits of the SS# before he could discuss any of my husband's personal information. I told him I don't give out that information — especially until I know who I am talking to!
I checked with the BBB and they are not known by them. I reported it to ID Theft Hotline, too.
