Scam, fraud, charged our phone bill for efax services we did not request and never used. Palm Harbo

These scammers called one of our remote branches and spoke one of of the guys in our shipping department. I listened to their recording of his "authorization" - they talked a million miles an hour in marketing speak, it sounded like he was verifying our physical address for a rebate check from someone we do business with. They tricked him. This is a scam. Not only did he have no idea that he was "accepting" a service, this employee was obviously not authorized to make changes to our phone service anyway and would never have done so without authorization.

They told me today that they would issue a full refund because the employee they communicated with was not authorized to make changes to our telco account but insisted that it was not a scam and not fraudulent. I wish I had the time and energy to follow this up and see them brought to justice for their dishonest and fraudulent ways.

If you get nailed by these creeps, tell them that whoever they spoke with was not authorized and they will refund you. I did not raise my voice or swear at her but I made it clear that I knew they were scammers and would not put up with this fraud.
