I received an unsolicited email from "fundingexpress.org, " saying the "mistakes people make when applying for grants and (my words), they had all the
solutions. When I clicked on their "information" link, it suddenly became "www.egrantsuccess.com I can't find any information, but, after reading your wonderful site, know it has to be a scam. I have to check my bank statements for "Grant research Guide, " which also was linked to a ".org" site and was very misleading. I got their CD Rom, which is a mismash of nonsense. I'll bet that they have been milking our bank account, but I just don't pay close enough attention. They were listed as the "Five Star"favorite..."Grant University" is now the 10 star favorite. It is very misleading, because I found these sites through a Google search and they were listed under ".org, " which now means absolutely nothing.
I do subscribe to some online grant publications... No charge, and they always seem to advise that, in order to get a grant, it is almost imperative to be a non-profit. I have a question: are there legitimate "Grant" sites out there, or is one left to their own devices??? Stan, las vegas, NV
