Handa Trudel Email Scam - Check sent for $4,918

Like another report, I also received a check from Hatch International. My check was for $4,918, but the number of telephone numbers - 149,000 - and total award sum were the same.
The difference in mine was that Handa Trudel, Director Public Relations, signed the letter and Douglas something signed the check. The address on the check is for CEC Entertainment at 4411 Airport Freeway, Irving, TX 75062. I did a web search for this company and it does, apparently, exist; however, the address on the web is 4441 West Airport Freeway.
It appears that this scam is using multiple names and amounts with a common thread for the contents of the letter. It may be that the check, if the account numbers are real, scam the company out of funds in the recipients' name and then use the account number to take it back. This is similar to the foreign scams which do the same.
Burn, shred, rip, rend, or cut paper dolls out of the letter and check, but don't take it seriously!
