Oil Well Lube Express And Wash
Poor and rude customer service

I tried to get a wash here. Paid, drove in, light went on that said "stop" so I stopped, waited for a minute, nothing happened. Having used this wash before (but never again) I knew this was not normal. I thought maybe if I backed up and pulled forward again it might work, but when I did (this is after waiting more than is usually necessary when I first pull in) the exit light came on and the door opened. I exited and drove around to the entrance and called the number provided. (256-655-7334) When it was answered I told him what happened. Rather than good old fashioned customer service like I was always taught, for example: "I am sorry you are experiencing difficulty. I will be there in a few minutes to reset the wash and then maybe we can figure out what went wrong." I got the following: "Well you probably didn't pull up far enough or..." I interrupted, I pulled up until the stop light came on... He said, "Then you moved or something..." I interrupted again, I waited for a minute or more and nothing happened so I moved but I don't want to hear how it was my fault I want to know what you are going to do about it. He answered, "Well I will be there in less than five minutes to reset the was and then I will SHOW you it was your fault." I was so livid, angry, hot, etc that I hung up, and left and immediately called the BBB. All I want is an apology and my measly $5.00 dollars back. It is not much. I was a good customer until I was so unbelievably insulted. The point is not whose fault it is, the point is the service was not provided for whatever reason and now I will never be a customer again.
