Cancun Travel Package Rip Off, ready to travel and no where to be found with my money

Miscellaneous

I received a fax back in Feb. 2008 at my work in a large corporate office. I figured it was a great deal with $397 a person. All of the information seemed to be there. I called and booked this with my credit card. They sent me a very generic package with forms to fill out when I got ready to make my reservations. They also included the need for $99 pp additionally for Taxes. I didnt have a problem with that. It seemed reasonable / I have been trying to find this place for the last 4 months and no luck. I have been calling the number that they gave me and there is no answer, it recently became disconnected. I found a number that was on another persons complaint for a cmbt travel.

I called the number and they said that IRR is out of business. I never received any notification of such. The cmbt told me that they can help me book my travel but they didnt have the money to return, it was with the IRR travel that is out of business! This was crazy. Then she looked up my information and she had it. She knew my address etc. When I gave her my name. She then proceeded to tell me that my vacation package is expired and I can't even book travel. What do I do now? This is just plain wrong!
I hope this helps, if not, it allowed me to vent. I warn everyone, never book with this company and beware!
